The most famous Top 10 Cats (part 1) names that begin with A to G

I'm compiling a list of famous cats for some time. So what are my favorite, but I wondered what the most famous as a whole. There are so many celebrities who do cats into four groups, and then I go for a ride with the final best dogs in these groups.

The most famous cat names beginning with the letters A to G are:

10. Eureka, from the Wizard of Oz books

9. Chester's Cheetos spot

8. Elsa, of Born Free Movies

7. Felix the Cat, Felix the Cat cartoons

6. Miss Kitty Fantastico, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV series

5. Hobbes, Calvin and Hobbes comic strips

4. Dewey, from the book "Dewey, The Town Library Cat Who Touched-Small World"

3. Garfield, the comic strip Garfield

2. Figaro, the animated film Pinocchio

... And the most famous cat on this list ...

1. CheshireCat> Alice in Wonderland.

Cats are not among the top 10 were clock - from Lady and the Tramp, Heathcliff - Heathcliff comics by Crookshanks - Harry Potter books and movies, the Duchess - the movie Babe, Greeba - Terry Pratchett's Discworld books, Bill - of cartoon Bloom County, Calvin - Harriet Beecher Stowe cat, Carbonel - Carbonel the King of Cats, Grimalkin - 'Nostradamus cat, Bucky - from Get Fuzzy comic Catarina - EdgarAllan Poe's cat, guilty - of Terry Pratchett's Johnny and the Bomb, and Foss - Edward Lear cat.

So cats from books (The Cheshire Cat, Dewey, Eureka) quite well, while the cats owned by the authors (Calvino, Catarina, Foss) is not. Probably not a big surprise.

I have compiled this directory to search for the name listed a number of search engines and ranking for the number of Web sites, discussion forums, photos, videos, etc that are availableonline.
